The implementation of the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) in Haryana Government schools marks a significant step towards aligning education with the needs of the industry and society. By introducing NSQF, students are provided with opportunities to acquire vocational skills alongside traditional academic learning, enhancing their employability and readiness for the workforce. Within this framework, two streams have been introduced in our school.

Patient Care Assistant (PCA) and Automobile. In the PCA stream, students receive hands-on training and theoretical knowledge in healthcare, focusing on essential skills for assisting patients and healthcare professionals. They learn about patient hygiene, basic medical procedures, and effective communication within healthcare settings. This equips them with the necessary competencies to pursue careers in hospitals, clinics, or elderly care facilities, contributing to the healthcare sector’s workforce.

On the other hand, the Automobile stream prepares students for careers in the automotive industry by providing training in vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostics. Through practical workshops and theoretical instruction, students develop a strong foundation in automotive technology, including engine systems, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques. This enables them to pursue roles as mechanics, technicians, or automotive engineers, supporting the growing demand for skilled professionals in the automotive sector.

By offering NSQF streams such as PCA and Automobile in government schools, Haryana is not only addressing the skills gap but also empowering students with diverse career pathways and opportunities for socioeconomic advancement.
